Hi Everyone,

Upon opening the boat up after the winter, I notice a lot of oil pooled on the floor by the toilet.  My yard replaced the engine oil during the winterization process.

I traced the oil leak back to a hole in the water pinion housing (the housing that the water pump mounts on. When you are facing the housing there is a hole in it and the engine oil seems to be leaking out from that hole.

ANd here is a diagram of the housing from the Bukh Manual (#37 on diagram).   I am wondering if there is supposed to be a plug in this hole?   Or maybe I have the wrong source of the oil leak.

I am thinking that during winterization the mechanic forgot to do something...but I am not sure what.
