My non-skid on the decks, doghouse, and cockpit  is worn to the point that it is very slick wet or dry.
I am looking for recommendations for a fix that will hold up and reasonable to apply.

Thanks,

Nothing holds up when it comes to non-skid. Even the best sprayed on Awlgrip jobs need to be re-done after 5 years. Since this is the case, I use Interdeck from interlux because it goes on thin and requires the least amount of sanding and prep work when it comes time to repaint. It works very well and comes pre mixed and is the easiest system to use.

I repainted my boat with Interdeck this spring.  After one season of use, my crew and I have been very happy with the grip it provides while still being easy on clothing and body (i.e. no shredded knees etc).

However it is wearing quickly in certain areas and does look dirty in areas like the aft section of the cockpit by the scuppers.  I anticipate it will be an "every two seasons" sort of job.  The good news is that it is relatively quick to apply (in fact, the taping takes 5x longer than the painting) and for touch ups you need not do all the taping every time.

I applied the beige colour and have been happy with it, although I was tempted to use grey which also looked nice and I think would hide dirt better.  I wouldn't recommend the white.

I would strongly recommend that you do not use grey! Although it looks really good, your bare feet will burn in the summer sun. My deck has the interdeck grey and on sunny summer days you can not walk barefoot on the boat. It got so bad that I wouldn't let my young daughter on the boat for fear she'd burn herself. Maybe if you mix it with some white it won't be as bad.
