I have a need to contact someone who worked at the factory, particularly someone who oversaw final inspections or HIN installation.
Also, does anyone know the whereabouts of hull number 229? Please PM me. |

Bill Layton, member of this forum worked at the factory.

On the Laser 28, you will find the number on the transom (outside), just below the bumper, on starboard.
It will look like: ZIOXO 229 0686 Manufacturer ID: ZIOXO Hull number: 229 Date of Certification: 0686 http://www.boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/hin.html |

| Ok disregard the last post. I have been able to convince the USCG that I in fact own number 236 and not 229 as they had believed. Long story and not worth recounting here. Thanks all for the help. |
