I have never fitted a lower genoa track on my laser 28 but would like to do so now as I understand it allows a better set on the sail.  Would someone give me the best location and length.

Hi Gerry,

Use a 2 foot Shaeffer 1 inch race track on each side. End of the track should be inline with the end of the windows. Mount the track so that its as close to the cabin sides as possible without getting into the radius. One note of caution... remember the starboard side bulkhead before you drill the holes.
