A friend of mine just showed me a writeup on the Laser 28 that appears in The Complete Book of Sailboat Buying, Volume II. It pretty much gives the entire history of the boat including areas such a manufacturing process, resins, sails, ratings, weak points, and strong points. It looks to be a good and yet fair writeup. The article is about ten pages. There are inexpensive used copies on the Internet.

I found a copy of that book and scanned the article to a PDF. I tried to attach it to the message board without success.
