I have sent a couple of inquiries to the Evolution loft in Quebec and I have not had any response.
Are they still the sailmaker of choice for the Montreal/Memphrmagog fleets? I have been under the assumption that since those fleets are the most active that there is still sail development going on there....and as a result they would likely have a recent proven design that has been tested in those fleets. Anyone have any idea? I am looking for a new Lapper. |

Scratch that. A Greg from the Evolution loft has responded to me.
My question around sail development and viability of the Evolution loft updating the design is still valid. Anyone???

Did you try to reach Denise at Evolution Yachting?
denise at evolutionyachting.com Bill Layton used to handle all of the Laser 28 sails for Evolution , sadly he’s no longer with us. I know the Evolution sails were continuously updated, particularly from 2013 to 2018. No offence to Greg, but he would not be my choice to deal with. |
