Hi everyone,

Just curious if there is a special kind of washer that fits with the screw at the bottom of the saildrive, the lower unit.  Guidance please and thanks!  - bill

Go to a local diesel shop and get a small copper round washer used on fuel systems... bring the drain screw with you. Then install it tightly with RTV gasket sealant. This is superior to the paper gasket BUKH sells. RTV sealant require that you do not put in oil or put it into the water until it has set for 24 hrs.
