Any recommendations for re-painting the Bukh?

I have the engine out and all the accessories, (hoses, water pumps, starter, etc...) removed. Now I need to repaint what's left: the crankcase, cylinder, and head. I've wire brushed all the loose paint off.

What should I use to clean the engine prior to painting? I've read online that after removing all lose paint I should de-greese the engine with gunk and rinse with fresh water and then dry thoroughly. But can't I just wipe it down with acetone?

What would you recommend for painting? I've read ceramic enamel for high temp engine paint.

Any other hints?
