This may be related Jon, mine ran smoothly and then got slower, and slower, and slower... and I think the answer was the angle of the hose that leaves the tank and exits off the port stern. Along the way there is a "creative solution" that came with the boat that consists of a glass jar for overflow fuel. When the engine ran slower I found this jar full and the hose was flat along the bottom of the hull, under the cushion until the end where it ran up to stern. I had changed it over the winter, until then it hung rather awkwardly and I think I now know why! Can anyone shed any suggestions or better way to create the seamless exit for this venting hose?
