Hi,
The lower spinnaker ring on the mast broke free and has been lost. I see some candidates on apsltd.com from ronstan although the rivet pattern does not match.
Anyone know another source for the rings? Mine had 6 rivet holes in a rectangular pattern.
thx, john

For future reference;
I found that Holt Allen makes a J22 spin ring with a generous backing plate in almost the same curve as my Laser28 mast.
We decided to drill the J22 backing plate to match the previous hole pattern so that we would not have to drill more holes in the mast.
Put a sheet of paper on the mast and put the new plate on the mast over the paper. Outline the plate on the paper for plumb reference. Then mark the existing holes on the paper. Adjust the paper on the back of the plate and glue the paper to the back of the new plate and punch the holes.
