I'm sorry to answer you so late, but better late than never. There are 2 sets of allen screws holding the blades on a Gori prop. Once you get the 1st set out look inside, there's another set. The blades "fall off" then. I work on many Gori props & they are all the same. |

Thanks Doug! Unfortunately the nut was too tight to get off with the blades on. I got up the courage to wail on the pins and they came out with much difficulty but without damage.

The prop doesn't need to come apart to remove it. Just remove the lock nut (secured with cotter pin) and then the prop should slide off of the splined shaft. Good luck! |

Can anyone give me some advice on how to switch out the saildrive zinc? I am doing it for the first time and having some trouble. I am assuming I need to get the prop off first. I removed the allen screws and expected the blade hinge pins to come out. They didn't, and I am afraid to bang on them too much without knowing what I am doing. Am I on the right track here? Thanks in advance,
